Nadeen Roufael is a ceramic sculptor based in Beirut, Lebanon. With a background in interior design and years of experience working alongside leading European furniture designers, Roufael eventually turned her focus to ceramic art, carving out a distinct space at the intersection of sculpture, color, and form. Her early exposure to spatial aesthetics and material sensitivity laid the foundation for a practice rooted in both refinement and emotion.

An intuitive relationship with material guides her creative vision. Clay, in her hands, becomes a language. Each curve, glaze, and pigment she applies speaks to a broader narrative of transformation and texture. Her ceramic pieces stand as poetic objects, vessels of balance, movement, and story.

Her work arises from a slow, thoughtful process. A piece often begins as a tactile impression or emotional memory, then gradually takes shape through experimentation and handcraft. Often inspired by nature, its shapes, landscapes, and the quiet dialogue between fragility and permanence, her pieces evoke a meditative presence. They do not shout. They resonate.

Roufael has been featured in Architectural Digest MEA, which named her one of “The Most Remarkable Women Ceramic Artists, Right Now,” as well as in Interior Design Magazine. Her sculptures have also been exhibited at Fame in Mykonos, the Beirut Concept Store in Dubai, and the MENA Art Fair in Brussels, and were highlighted in Architectural Digest’s The Art of Living in Abu Dhabi for her collaboration with JKA titled Versatile as well as We Design Beirut.

As her pieces continue to reach international audiences, Nadeen Roufael shapes new visual languages and modes of expression that bring a sense of grounded intimacy to the spaces they inhabit. Whether standing alone or part of a collection, they offer a window into her world.
